1. Your data stays on your machine

Vooki Pro is a desktop app, not a cloud service. Findings and the HTTP traffic behind them are stored in a local database under your home folder, and the AI model runs on your device. Apart from the target itself, the only outbound traffic is licence validation, the one-time AI model download, and any integrations you set up yourself.

This means you can scan staging behind a VPN, an internal admin app, or a client environment under NDA without a data-processing agreement or a publicly reachable target.

2. Findings you can trust

• Evidence on every finding. You see the exact request and response, with the payload and the matching evidence highlighted.
• Fewer false positives. Timing-based attacks run in a separate second pass that skips anything already confirmed, so network jitter does not turn into a critical finding. ThreatLens also demotes likely false positives.
• Fewer duplicates. Header, cookie, CORS and outdated-dependency issues are reported once per host or origin, not once per crawled URL.
• Honest scans. WAF and CDN detection, auth-health checks and session-expiry detection warn you when a scan is being blocked or the login died halfway through.

3. It reaches the parts other scanners miss

• Browser recordings let you walk a single-page app, a checkout or an SSO login once in a real Chromium window. The scanner then starts from those real, authenticated URLs.
• Background request discovery captures the XHR and fetch calls your JavaScript makes, which is where most REST endpoints live.
• Auto re-login gets a fresh session when a 401 or 403 appears mid-scan.

4. From finding to fix in one place

• Automated retest. This re-runs the exact detector against the live app and returns Still Vulnerable, Fixed or Needs Manual Review.
• Tickets. File findings in Jira, GitHub Issues, Linear, GitLab or Azure DevOps with the evidence and remediation filled in.
• Compliance reports. Findings are mapped control by control to OWASP Top 10, PCI DSS v4, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR and SOC 2.
• CI/CD. Export any scan as a JSON config, run it with vooki-pro-cli, and let the exit code fail the build.
