Vooki Pro is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux. There is no cloud account to create: install it, activate your licence key and download the AI model.
| Component | Minimum |
|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 (64-bit), macOS 11 or later (Apple Silicon), or Linux with glibc 2.28 (Ubuntu 20.04+, Debian 11+, Fedora 32+) |
| RAM | 16 GB. The AI model holds about 5 GB during a scan. |
| Disk | 7 GB (2 GB app, 5 GB AI model), plus about 15 GB for scan data and reports |
| Network | Needed once to activate and once to download the model. Scanning itself works offline. |
Email support@vookify.com for a trial or a licence, and tell us which build you need. We reply with a licence key and a download link. The 7-day trial unlocks every feature, and no card is needed.
.dmg and drag Vooki Pro.app into Applications. On first launch, right-click the app and choose Open so Gatekeeper lets it through.Setup.exe, choose an install location and follow the prompts.chmod +x Vooki-Pro-<version>-x86_64.AppImage
./Vooki-Pro-<version>-x86_64.AppImage
If it fails with a FUSE error, install FUSE 2: libfuse2 on Ubuntu and Debian, fuse-libs on Fedora. You can change or re-enter the key later under Settings → License. Installs are unlimited, because licences are counted in domains, not machines.
Do this before your first scan. Without the model, scans run on the rule-based checks alone, without AI triage. See ThreatLens AI model.
The bundled CLI reports its version and the licence state of the machine:
"/Applications/Vooki Pro.app/Contents/MacOS/vooki-pro-cli" license status
On Windows, use & "C:\Program Files\Vooki Pro\vooki-pro-cli.exe" license status.
Everything is stored under ~/.vooki-pro/: the project database, the AI model, your licence file and logs. Back up this folder to back up your scan history.
.AppImage.Delete ~/.vooki-pro/ as well to remove scan history and the model. If you are retiring a machine, first use Settings → License → Deactivate This Device.
